Hi, I’m Emma Peel.

My journey into Chinese Medicine began at the age of eleven when a doctor used Acupuncture to treat me after a fall from a horse. This ignited curiosity into what unfolds when the body, mind, spirit appear disordered and then how to re-establish order. It was this impetus to acquire knowledge and a practice of Acupuncture and Tui Na which aims to recover and uncover health and what it means to be whole.

Chinese Medicine and all that it has taught me about the human being in health and at ease with itself and ill-health or dis-ease, has dominated my study and work for most of my adult life. The ability to arouse, however gently, our physical container, is to arouse our spirit. A needle, a hand, can meet and press upon these depths within each of us, finding order within chaos and it is through this manipulation of energy is the main focus of how I approach this practise.

TREATMENTS

My Approach

This approach to health is about awakening the fullest potential of the body, mind, spirit complex. My hands and needles work in harmony together, bringing life, easing pain and limitation, assisting the body in its totality to restore a natural state of health and well-being.

tui na

Tui Na can be described as needle-free Acupuncture. In essence, Tui Na as the"Touching Bridge" beautifully encapsulates the therapeutic relationship and the flow of energy that this ancient practice seeks to nurture.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a key practice within Traditional Chinese Medicine that involves inserting thin, sterile needles into specific points on the body to stimulate the flow of energy and restore balance.
